Domaine Decelle & Fils

Domaine Decelle-Villa was born out of a chance encounter. When Olivier Decelle, the winemaker and owner of Mas Amiel in Roussillon and Château Jean Faure in Saint-Émilion, met Pierre-Jean Villa, a young and talented winemaker in Côte Rôtie, Saint-Joseph, and Condrieu, they hit it off immediately. Together, they decided to realize their lifelong dream: to craft subtle Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays that reflect the great terroirs of Burgundy by creating Domaine Decelle-Villa.

They partnered and acquired 3 hectares of vineyards in the Burgundy white and red appellations, as well as Savigny-Lès-Beaune, to create Domaine Decelle-Villa. Olivier and Pierre-Jean also select grapes from the best plots in Burgundy. The vineyards of Domaine Decelle-Villa are cultivated organically to preserve soil life and ensure the terroirs’ full expression. They established their winery in the village of Nuits-Saint-Georges. A new great estate in Burgundy was born: Domaine Decelle-Villa.
