Produced in the purest Chablis tradition, this Chablis is a blend from eight lieux-dits planted with vines over 25 years old. It is the very embodiment of the appellation’s characteristic Kimmeridgian terroir: minerality and white fruit notes blend harmoniously to create a round and pure wine.

About the estate:
A long-established Chablis family, the Michels cultivate the finest vineyards, including both Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites. The estate is also one of the very few to offer the Grenouilles Grand Cru, of which La Chablisienne remains the primary producer. Since 1969, winemaking has been carried out in stainless-steel tanks, so the wines here often start out rather understated in the bottle, but their minerality comes through effortlessly after a few years of aging.
