“Great nobility in the vine blossom notes on the nose, full-bodied, with great density of structure, no sign of oxidation in sight; a classic wine from the Morgeot area, made for aging, with its customary assured style. ” (Le Grand Guide des Vins de France 2011 - Bettane & Desseauve)

Rated estate (2022 guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the estate:

The estate is now led by Frédéric Drouhin, supported by his sister Véronique for the wines and his brother Philippe for the vineyards. In July 2013, it opened a wine bar in the heart of Beaune. It has found its stride and is establishing itself as a sure bet. The estate draws on a biodynamic vineyard particularly well-stocked with great white wines, in the Côte-de-Beaune as well as in Chablis (wines sold under the Drouhin-Vaudon label), including the famous Clos des Mouches.
