"Take a bite of wild blackberries and black cherries!"

"A subtle nose that suggests a fairly dense wine. On the palate, the fruit is very present and charming, followed by slightly sharp tannins." (Jancis Robinson 2023)

Rated Estate (2022 Guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often boasting fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the estate:

This winery is now led by Frédéric Drouhin, supported by his sister Véronique for the wines and by his brother Philippe in the vineyards. In July 2013, it opened a wine bar in the heart of Beaune. It has found its stride and is establishing itself as a sure bet. The winery draws on a biodynamic vineyard that is particularly rich in great white wines, both in the Côte-de-Beaune and in Chablis (wines sold under the Drouhin-Vaudon label), including the famous Clos des Mouches.
