1er cru

With a beautiful garnet color, this Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru offers intense notes of wild berries intertwined with hints of truffle and licorice. It strikes a perfect balance between power and finesse. Structured, complex, and with elegant tannins, the wine concludes with a beautifully aromatic, delicately spiced finish. It also has excellent aging potential.

Rated estate (2022 guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the estate:

The estate is now led by Frédéric Drouhin, supported by his sister Véronique for the wines and his brother Philippe for the vineyards. In July 2013, it opened a wine bar in the heart of Beaune. It has found its stride and is establishing itself as a sure bet. The estate draws on a biodynamic vineyard particularly well-stocked with great white wines, in the Côte-de-Beaune as well as in Chablis (wines sold under the Drouhin-Vaudon label), including the famous Clos des Mouches.
