It echoes the lovely bouquet I found last year: yellow plum, hints of honeycomb—somewhat more subdued than the Les Buis cuvée, but with much greater complexity. This wine captivates with its delicate aroma (minerality, white flowers, fresh honey) and its full-bodied, rich palate, balanced by just the right amount of freshness. 2024–2028

About the estate:

The Domaine de la Croix Senaillet was founded in 1969 by Maurice Martin, who gradually shifted from mixed farming to viticulture. In 1990, his son Richard took over the family estate, and was joined by his brother Stéphane in 1992. The property, which originally covered 6.5 hectares, has expanded to 25 hectares today, spread across 52 plots that have been certified organic since 2010. Drawing on their experience, in 2015 the brothers acquired the Domaine de Mont Épin in Clessé (13 hectares).
