The palate is balanced and impressively concentrated. The oak lends a subtly creamy texture. About the estate:

The Domaine de la Croix Senaillet was founded in 1969 by Maurice Martin, who gradually shifted from mixed farming to viticulture. In 1990, his son Richard took over the family estate, and was joined by his brother Stéphane in 1992. The property, which originally covered 6.5 hectares, has expanded to 25 hectares today, spread across 52 plots that have been certified organic since 2010. Drawing on their experience, in 2015 the brothers acquired the Domaine de Mont Épin in Clessé (13 hectares).
