Domaine de la Croix Senaillet - Mâcon-Davayé 2023
2*Coup de Coeur
Hachette
"A delicious, well-balanced white, with a harmonious finish...".
"Mechanical harvesting, vinification in stainless steel vats, followed by 10 months ageing on fine lees have produced this superb golden wine with sparkling reflections. The nose combines white flowers with apricot, nuts and coconut. In the same aromatic vein, the palate is ample and long, combining freshness and roundness in perfect balance. We applaud it. Serve with refined dishes, such as sea bream ceviche with passion fruit. 2025-2030" (Le Guide Hachette 2026)

About the domain :
Dom. de la Croix Senaillet was founded in 1969 by Maurice Martin, who gradually abandoned mixed farming in favor of vines. In 1990, his son Richard took over the family estate, before being joined by his brother Stéphane in 1992. The property, initially 6.5 ha, has grown to 25 ha today, spread over 52 parcels that have been certified organic since 2010. Building on their experience, in 2015 the brothers acquired Dom. de Mont Épin in Clessé (13 ha).
