Bettane & Desseauve

“A chalky nose, a long, delicate palate with a salty finish.” (The Bettane & Desseauve Guide to French Wines 2015). A rare cuvée with a production of just 800 bottles! A full-bodied white with lovely texture and a dense, pure structure. A taut, straightforward, vertical wine that has now reached its full potential...

About the estate:

Domaine de la Croix Senaillet was founded in 1969 by Maurice Martin, who gradually shifted from mixed farming to viticulture. In 1990, his son Richard took over the family estate, and was joined by his brother Stéphane in 1992. The property, which originally covered 6.5 hectares, has expanded to 25 hectares today, spread across 52 plots that have been certified organic since 2010. Building on their experience, in 2015 the brothers acquired Dom. de Mont Épin in Clessé (13 hectares).
