Bettane & Desseauve

"Chalky nose, long and graceful palate with a salty finish." (Le Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France 2015). A rare cuvée with a production of only 800 bottles! A full-bodied white with a lovely consistency, dense and pure. A taut, straightforward, vertical wine, now at its peak...

About the estate:

The Dom. de la Croix Senaillet was founded in 1969 by Maurice Martin, who gradually abandoned mixed farming in favor of viticulture. In 1990, his son Richard took over the family estate, before being joined by his brother Stéphane in 1992. The property, which initially covered 6.5 hectares, has expanded to 25 hectares today, spread over 52 plots that have been certified organic since 2010. Building on their experience, in 2015 the brothers acquired Dom. de Mont Épin in Clessé (13 hectares).
