Rating: RVF 15/20, Gault Millau 15/20, Robert Parker 89/100
“The 2008 Les Fourneaux is a wine of great finesse, developing notes of tart berries and blackberries. The palate is very smooth, with plenty of freshness and finely textured tannins. ” (Le Guide des Vins 2011 - Gault Millau)

Rated estate (2022 guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the estate:

The estate is now led by Frédéric Drouhin, supported by his sister Véronique for the wines and his brother Philippe for the vineyards. In July 2013, it opened a wine bar in the heart of Beaune. It has found its stride and is establishing itself as a sure bet. The estate draws on a biodynamic vineyard particularly well-stocked with great white wines, in the Côte-de-Beaune as well as in Chablis (wines sold under the Drouhin-Vaudon label), including the famous Clos des Mouches.
