Guide des Vins Gault & Millau

Wine rated (2021 guide) 15/20 (Very good)

Rated Category: Recommended (Recommended)

About the wine:

This Grand Cru pays tribute to its terroir with its striking character. The aromatic profile is complex, featuring notes of spiced white fruit compote and juicy Williams pear. The palate reflects the winemaker’s expertise, with a rich, slightly taut texture highlighted by zesty citrus notes. Enjoy it as an aperitif or paired with grilled, flambéed sea bream and fennel.

About the estate:

Descended from a line of winemakers dating back to the 17th century, Rémi and Jean-René Brice cultivate the family’s 12-hectare vineyard. With the support of Christophe Constant, oenologist and head of production, they craft champagnes deeply rooted in the terroir of the Grand Cru-classified Bouzy.

Gilbert & Gaillard

Gilbert & Gaillard

Wine rated (2019 guide) 91/100

About the wine:

A beautiful golden yellow color. An expressive, elegant nose blending yellow fruits, notes of ripe lemon, and a mineral quality (flint). On the palate, it captivates with its fullness, freshness, texture, and fine bubbles, as well as the precision and persistence of its aromas.
