"Attractive aromas of clove, blackberry, blueberry, cedar, and chocolate. It is full-bodied to medium-bodied, with fine but chewy tannins and a savory finish. Elegant and muscular. It needs three to five years to soften, but it is already impressive. Ruby red color, brilliant disc
Nose
Elegant and harmonious; intense aromas of ripe black fruits stand out: blackcurrant, plum, blackberry, complemented by tertiary notes.

Great depth, excellent tannic structure, with lots of complexity: the black fruits from the nose are present, along with flavors of vanilla, freshly ground coffee, and dried Mediterranean herbs, ending with a long, slightly graphite finish.

About wine:
2019 was a more concentrated and powerful year, hotter and drier; it was saved by 80 liters of rain in the first half of September, and they tried to select the highest altitude vineyards for more freshness. They reduced the amount of new barrels (55%) and increased the use of large oak casks (45%) for aging the 2019 Macán. It fermented in stainless steel with 10% of their own yeasts. It has a moderate alcohol content of 14%, soft acidity, good freshness, and good balance. The year 2019 was dry and hot, and the vinification was gentle to avoid harsh tannins. The wine is very powerful and dense, with great structure and lots of tannins. The oak is still noticeable in the aromas. Leave it in the bottle a little longer and enjoy it with powerful dishes. 87,377 bottles, 2,583 magnums, and a few larger formats were produced. It was bottled in August 2021. 2025-2031
