Ollieux Romanis Castle
Since 2001, Pierre Borie has masterfully managed the Monséret estate, which has had a turbulent history. Founded in 1868, it has remained in the family’s possession through successive inheritances. However, in 1872, the estate was split into two parts: Château Ollieux on one side and Ollieux-Romanis on the other. This was followed by a pooling of resources, despite differences in methods and vision. After 134 years, in 2006, the estate was finally reunited and became Château Ollieux Romanis. Since then, this 65-hectare estate has been managed with a golden rule: respect for the soil and the consumer, embodied through organic farming and wines made primarily with indigenous yeasts. Thanks to a network of artisan partners, the range is extensive and includes estate wines, merchant wines, and single-vineyard wines, reflecting the distinctive character of the Corbières region.
