Château Ollieux Romanis
Since 2001, Pierre Borie has been at the helm of this Monséret estate with its eventful history. Founded in 1868, the estate has remained in the family ever since. However, in 1872, the estate was split in two, with Château Ollieux on one side and Ollieux-Romanis on the other. This led to a pooling of efforts, despite disparities in methods and vision. After 134 years, in 2006, the estate was finally reunited and became Château Ollieux Romanis. Since then, this 65-hectare estate has been run with respect for the soil and the consumer as its golden rule, as evidenced by organic farming and cuvées produced using mostly indigenous yeasts. Thanks to a network of artisan partners, the range is extensive and includes estate, merchant and parcel cuvées, reflecting the typical Corbières character.
