Ollieux Romanis Castle
Since 2001, Pierre Borie has been masterfully managing the Monséret estate, which has had an eventful history. Created in 1868, it has remained in the family through inheritance. However, in 1872, the estate was split into two parts: Château Ollieux on one side and Ollieux-Romanis on the other. This was followed by a pooling of efforts, despite differences in methods and vision. After 134 years, in 2006, the estate was finally reunited and became Château Ollieux Romanis. Since then, this 65-hectare estate has been run according to the golden rule of respect for the soil and the consumer, reflected in its organic farming methods and wines made using mainly indigenous yeasts. Thanks to a network of artisan partners, the range is wide and includes estate wines, négociant wines and single vineyard wines, reflecting the typical characteristics of the Corbières region.
