This pale pink rosé opens with a nose marked by a hint of spice, followed by notes of exotic fruit (mango) and citrus (lemon). On the palate, it is refreshingly crisp and fruity from the first sip, with a supple, lingering finish... A lovely table rosé!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2025 guide) 2*Stars (A solid, recommendable vintage, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
Following in the footsteps of Bernard Durand, who oversaw Pic Saint-Loup’s transition from a mixed-farming operation focused on sheep to its recognition as a quality wine-growing region, his nephew Régis Valentin has taken over the technical reins. Without fanfare, this is an estate worth seeking out for its Vieilles Vignes cuvée—powerful yet flavorful—its Clos des Combes, and its Grande Cuvée. The Cuvée Madame is even more ambitious, and the rosé is consistently delicious.
Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2025 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About the estate:
Régis Valentin, an oenologist and cellar master, took over the estate in 2001, which was founded in 1960 by the Durand-Valentin families. He produces wines from 80 hectares of vineyards (in the process of converting to organic farming since 2019) situated on a beautiful terroir of hard limestone and red clay. A sure bet in the Languedoc.
Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Wine rated (2018 guide) 90/100 (Excellent wine)
About the wine:
This medium-bodied 2017 rosé possesses a richness you wouldn't expect from its pale color. Delicious and rich, with hints of sweetness but also a substantial, appetizing character and notes of black berries. The blend consists of 50% Syrah, 40% Grenache, and 10% Cinsault, produced by direct pressing in stainless steel tanks.
