A beautiful deep purple color. A savory and robust nose. Good structure, with a floral top note. Still in its infancy, but this vintage shows the potential to rival or even surpass the 2016 in terms of subtlety and sophistication. We sense real energy, as well as ripe, deliciously sweet fruit. I would love to taste it again once it’s bottled. Already admirably persistent.

The 2018 Terrasses du Larzac La Pèira is another rich and seductive wine from this team, ranking among the region’s finest. The nose is defined by generous notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, chocolate, and tapenade; on the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied with a , well-integrated acidity, and an excellent finish. It showcases a style accentuated by the pure, ripe, and sexy fruit of the vintage and should remain enjoyable to drink for at least 7 to 8 years.
