Domaine Michel Redde

Domaine Michel Redde is the winery that manages Domaine de la Moynerie, a large historic estate in Pouilly-Fumé. Owned by the Redde family for eight generations, the estate’s 40 hectares enjoy a privileged location in the heart of the Pouilly-sur-Loire appellation. La Moynerie is now managed by Thierry Redde, assisted by his sons Romain and Sébastien. A large part of Domaine Michel Redde & Fils is situated on the magnificent south-facing slopes overlooking the Loire, whose clay-limestone soils produce full-bodied, harmonious, elegant wines with excellent aging potential. The other jewel in the crown of the Domaine Michel Redde vineyard is the 15 hectares planted on the Saint-Andelain hill, on clay-siliceous terroirs that lend minerality and distinct character to the Pouilly-Fumé.

Thierry Redde and his sons carry on the family’s expertise with talent and passion, and on these lands bordering the Chablis region, they elevate the Sauvignon Blanc grape—which everyone agrees delivers one of its finest expressions at Domaine Michel Redde.
