“A charming vintage”
“Blended in equal parts (25%) of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, and Rolle, and aged on fine lees for six months in concrete tanks, the Ventoux Domaine Blanc 2024 is lively and racy, offering aromas of honeyed citrus, mandarin, mint, and a chalky minerality. It is medium-bodied with well-integrated but high acidity. It reveals a juicy, salty, and incredible minerality on the finish.” (Jeb Dunnuck 2025)

About the estate:
Nanou Barthélemy and her son Sébastien Vincenti purchased this property in 1995, built the winery and regularly upgraded it, and replanted the vineyard—50 hectares of organic vineyards cultivated using biodynamic methods—thus establishing Fondrèche as one of the leading producers in the Ventoux appellation.

About the wine:
Domaine de Fondrèche’s Ventoux Blanc 2024, a blend of unknown proportions of Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, and Rolle, is lively and precise, opening with aromas of citrus blossoms, white peach, and crushed stone. Medium-bodied and incisive, it centers on a core of ripe fruit and lively acidity, with a salty, chalky finish that lends it tension and length. It is a vibrant, finely crafted white that will drink well young but will age gracefully for several years.

Rated estate (2025 guide) Recommended
About the wine:
Aromas of green apples, limes, and aromatic herbs. Medium-bodied with a mineral note on the mid-palate that adds a lot of freshness. Precise texture. An appealing, round, and delicious blend of Grenache, Clairette, Roussanne, and Rolle (Vermentino). Made from organically grown grapes. Ready to drink or suitable for aging.
