A one-of-a-kind treat... Save it for your Easter lamb!
RVF 17/20, Gault Millau 16/20, Winery rated " Exceptional" by R. ParkerBoth full-bodied and powerful, this cuvée Cosprons Levants comes from the town of Port-Vendres, where the two hectares of vineyards from which it is made border the hamlet of Cosprons. Located some 900 meters (as the crow flies) from the sea, these vineyards benefit from the maritime influence thanks to the sea breezes. This Collioure is a flavorful wine with a lovely richness, generous tannins, and a fresh, long finish, marked by its terroir, which gives it its beautiful minerality. It will pair perfectly with your Easter lamb!

Rated 2** stars (Successful production)
About the estate:
Dr. Parcé had undeniably left his mark on the estate and the Banyuls appellation as a whole, which is rooted in its magnificent schist terroirs. As for the Collioures—that is, the dry wines produced in the same geographical area—they have so far provided a good indication of this terroir and its potential. The challenge is great for Jean-Michel Parcé, the son, to maintain this high standard of quality.

Rated estate (2011 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)
About the estate:
Le Mas Blanc boasts the largest vineyards in Banyuls. It has been owned by the same family since 1639—the Parcé family, led by Dr. Parcé, a prominent local figure who passed away in 1998 and who played a leading role in the estate for many years.
