With aromas of prunes and stewed fruit, the 2012 Cosprons Levants offers notes of chocolate and mocha. A distinguished wine, crafted from three grape varieties with strong character: Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Grenache. Its lovely acidity and silky tannins highlight this cuvée’s aging potential, though it is ready to enjoy now.

Guide des Vins Gault & Millau
Rated 2** stars (Successful production)
About the estate:
Dr. Parcé had undeniably left his mark on the estate and the Banyuls appellation as a whole, rooted in its magnificent schist terroirs. The Collioures, that is, the dry wines produced in the same geographical area, had until now given a good indication of this terroir and its potential. The challenge is great for Jean-Michel Parcé, the son, to maintain this high standard of quality.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated estate (2011 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)
About the estate:
Le Mas Blanc boasts the largest vineyards in Banyuls. It has been owned by the same family since 1639—the family of Dr. Parcé, a prominent local figure who passed away in 1998 and who was the driving force behind the estate for many years.
