(Notes vintage 2017)

A pretty white made from red-skinned sylvaner, named for its colored skin whose berries are tastier and spicier. The delicate nose opens with notes of white flowers. The palate is invigorating, with good substance, fruit and citrus. Pure, saline finish. An elegant Sylvaner!

Wine rated (guide 2019) 14/20 (Vintage 2017) (Good wine)

Domaine rated (guide 2022) 4*Stars (Top-quality producers, the glories of French winegrowing)

About the domain :

With courage and discipline, Céline and Isabelle Meyer manage the estate long run by their father Jean. Biodynamic viticulture shines through in wines with airy, pure, fresh, chiselled mouthfeel. The estate's two favorite grands crus are Hengst and Brand, where Riesling shines particularly brightly. Pinot Gris is part of a long tradition of dry wines, unfortunately not so common in Alsace.
