This Saint-Amour comes from a small 58-acre plot on deeply weathered granite soil overlooking the village of Saint-Véran in the northern part of the appellation. A charming red with a very elegant nose, this is a smooth, sensual wine with lots of personality. Delicate, with a beautiful harmony between fruit and tannins. Lots of pleasure in store!

About the estate:

Winegrowers in Juliénas since the early 17th century, the Perrachons purchased Ch. de la Bottière in 1877, followed by Dom. des Perelles in Romanèche-Thorins (windmill). When he took over in 1989, Laurent Perrachon acquired Domaine des Mouilles, then plots in Morgon, Fleurie, and Saint-Amour: a total of 31 hectares, with vines in six crus. With Maxime and Adrien, the new generation joined the estate in 2016.
