Note: Guide Hachette 1* (Very successful wine)
"This Juliénas offers a nose of red and black fruits (elderberry, blackcurrant) when aerated. On the palate, it appears rich and solid. Its tannins are still a little harsh and will need one to two years of aging to soften. " (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2014). A supple wine with a beautiful texture and a pleasant, fresh finish...

About the estate:

Winegrowers in Juliénas since the early 17th century, the Perrachons purchased Ch. de la Bottière in 1877, followed by Dom. des Perelles in Romanèche-Thorins (windmill). When he took over in 1989, Laurent Perrachon acquired Domaine des Mouilles, then plots in Morgon, Fleurie, and Saint-Amour: a total of 31 hectares, with vines in six crus. With Maxime and Adrien, the new generation joined the estate in 2016.

Excellent value for money. A simple wine, but very pleasant to drink.
