Note: Guide Hachette 1* (Very successful wine)
“When aerated, this Juliénas offers a nose of red and black fruits (elderberry, blackcurrant). On the palate, it is full-bodied and robust. Its tannins, which are still a bit harsh, will need one to two years of aging to soften. ” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2014). A supple wine with a lovely texture and a pleasant, fresh finish...

Rated estate (2020 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)
About the estate:
Winegrowers in Juliénas since the early 17th century, the Perrachons purchased Château de la Bottière in 1877, followed by Domaine des Perelles in Romanèche-Thorins (a windmill). Upon taking over in 1989, Laurent Perrachon acquired the Domaine des Mouilles, followed by plots in Morgon, Fleurie, and Saint-Amour: a total of 31 hectares, with vineyards across six crus. With Maxime and Adrien, the new generation joined the estate in 2016.
