Château Olivier
Château Olivier produces a Grand Cru Classé from gravel soils in the Pessac-Léognan AOC, an appellation that has made spectacular strides over the past fifteen years. Steeped in history, Château Olivier is located 11 kilometers from Bordeaux, at the heart of a 220-hectare estate comprising meadows, century-old oak trees, pine forests, and, above all, a 55-hectare vineyard spread across two distinct gravel hilltops.

Château Olivier has the rare distinction of possessing excellent terroirs for both red and white wines. The low fertility of the gravelly and clay soils, combined with the early-ripening climate, allows Cabernet Sauvignon to reach optimal maturity. The deep gravel terroirs on marl are ideally suited for Merlot production, combining concentration and freshness. Finally, the shallow soils on limestone slopes provide the ideal conditions for producing elegant white wines, emphasizing fruity aromas and liveliness.
