Bourgogne Aujourd'hui
A lovely freshness on the palate with a crisp, chalky purity that balances harmoniously with notes of honey and toast, accompanied by white-fleshed fruits (peach) and citrus (lemon). A wine that’s pure pleasure!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2023 guide): 3*Stars (High-quality production that serves as a benchmark in its sector)
About the estate:
Frédérick and Franck Buisson, whose family has lived in the village since the 12th century, represent the eighth generation of winemakers at this historic estate in Saint-Romain. Certified by Écocert since 2012, they practice viticulture and winemaking that are as natural as possible. The red wines, which always contain a small proportion of whole clusters, offer a precise expression of their terroir, championing the rediscovery of a Saint-Romain that we have rarely seen at this level. The precise white wines are equally impressive.

Rated Winery (2023 Guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or high-quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when you taste the wines from these wineries)
About the estate:
Frédéric, the winemaker, and Franck, the sales representative, manage one of the largest estates in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune. Having practiced organic farming—certified since 2009—they made the transition to biodynamic farming in 2018. For the past ten years, they have been following the lunar calendar for their bottling schedule. Diligent work in the vineyard and in the cellar allows them to produce deep, distinguished wines that age well. This is an estate that beautifully showcases the Saint-Romain appellation in both red and white wines; the wines are refined, precise, and elegant. A range of wines that fully deserves its first star.
