Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson

The Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson is one of the leading estates in Saint-Romain, in the Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy.  Domaine Henri et Gilles Buissonhas been a family-run estate for eight generations and is certified by the “ Organic ” and will soon be certified by Biodyvin starting with the 2019 vintage. The vineyard spans 19 hectares spread across 15 appellations, with a predominance of the Saint-Romain appellation. The other wines include Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, and Corton. These village appellations, 1er Crus, and Grands Crus are produced by winemakers whose motto is to make fine wines at prices that remain reasonable for the region.

The vineyards at Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson are meticulously tended, with a focus on low yields, rigorous and sustainable cultivation practices free of chemical inputs, and the harvest is conducted exclusively by hand. In transition since 2009, theHenri and Gilles Buisson Estatehas been certified organic since 2012. In the cellar, winemaking is equally meticulous and remains traditional, emphasizing fruitiness and roundness. The Henri and Gilles Buisson wines are then aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
