Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson

Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson is one of the flagship estates of Saint-Romain, in Burgundy's Côte de Beaune region. Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson has been a family business for 8 generations, and is certified Organic and soon Biodyvin from the 2019 vintage. The vineyard extends over 19 hectares shared between 15 appellations, with a predominance for the Saint-Romain appellation. Other wines include Pommard, Volnay, Meursault and Corton. So many village appellations, 1ers Crus and Grands Crus produced by these winemakers whose motto is to make good wines at prices that are still reasonable for the region.

The vineyards of Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson are carefully tended, with priority given to small yields, rigorous, reasoned cultivation practices with no chemical inputs, and harvesting exclusively by hand. In conversion since 2009, Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson has been certified organic since 2012. In the cellar, vinification is just as meticulous and traditional. The emphasis is on fruit and roundness. Henri et Gilles Buisson wines are then aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
