From the Tue Boeuf vineyard in the Epernay region, this cuvée offers a nose that is both toasty and sweet from the very first moment (grapes, hazelnuts, cherries). A particularly vibrant champagne, with a burst of warm spices on the finish. A must-try!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated 2 stars (A solid, recommendable wine, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
Located on the hills above Épernay, the Janisson-Baradon estate is run by Richard Janisson and his two sons, Maxence and Cyril. The vineyard comprises 9 hectares of hillsides surrounding the Champagne capital, tended with care and attention. The Janissons have intelligently modernized the style of their wines, and once again this year, the single-vineyard selections stood out during the tasting, with champagnes that have a distinct character while retaining the region’s characteristic suppleness. A sure bet.

Guide des Vins Gault & Millau
Estate rated 1*Star (High-quality production)
About the estate:
Founded in 1922 by Georges Baradon, a wine stirrer, and his son-in-law, Maurice Janisson, a cooper, the estate is still run by the Janisson family, who cultivate just over 9 hectares of vineyards on the western slopes of Épernay, in Chouilly and Brimont. The vineyard has been maintained through soil cultivation since 1997, without the use of any herbicides. Most of the vintages are a blend of equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
