Trousseau Singulier is made from the estate’s finest Trousseau vines. These old vines, with their low yields, yield this delightful wine made from Trousseau, a grape variety typical of the Jura region.

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2020 guide): 4*Stars (Producers of the very highest quality, the pride of French viticulture)
About the estate:
Sparkling like his crémants, energetic like his white wines, approachable like his reds, and full-bodied like his yellow wines, Stéphane Tissot is undoubtedly the driving force behind the Jura wine region. Taking the reins of the family estate in 1993 alongside his wife Bénédicte, he has successfully brought to light the full richness of the Jura’s terroirs through exceptional single-vineyard wines. The variety of his portfolio is matched only by the quality and purity of the wines, as well as the winemaker’s masterful craftsmanship and tireless experimentation. High-density trellis planting, mass selection, aging in amphorae, extended maceration, and sulfur-free wines are just some of the techniques Stéphane Tissot has added to his repertoire. Some fifty hectares of vineyards, cultivated biodynamically, make up one of the region’s most exciting estates.

Rated estate (2020 guide): 3*Stars (These represent the pinnacle of French winemaking. The finest terroirs cultivated by the greatest winemakers. Tasting their wine is always a magical experience)
About the estate:
What an incredible journey Stéphane Tissot has been on since 1990! The vineyard’s transition to organic farming began in 1999, and today it is cultivated using biodynamic methods. Regardless of the type of wine, everything is managed with talent and sensitivity, and the flavors are of perfect integrity. The Macvin wines are the finest in the region. The rustic character often imparted by the grape pomace is wonderfully integrated here! The reds and oxidative wines have acquired an unforgettable finesse and freedom of expression. The meticulous craftsmanship and the kaleidoscopic depth of the lineup unquestionably place the estate at the pinnacle of regional wine production.
