“A pale gold color. A delicately woody, vanilla-scented nose with notes of peach, honey, and heady flowers. A lively attack. The wine gradually comes together, beautifully complemented by an elegant, woody-fruity profile. The smooth finish lingers, prolonging the pleasure.” (Le Guide des Vins 2016 - Gilbert & Gaillard)

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2025 guide) 2*Stars (A solid, recommendable vintage, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
The perfect choice for those who want to discover fine Languedoc wines that remain true to their terroir. Jérôme Joseph and Laurent Calmel are wine merchants without their own cellars. They age their selected vintages at the winemakers’ estates from whom they purchase them, preserving the original flavors and terroirs. A wide, delightful selection featuring many excellent wines and a few stunning surprises.
