“A beautiful, elegant bottle with just the right amount of vibrancy, perfect for pairing with grilled meats”

Les Carlines opens with an expressive bouquet of fresh, crisp red fruits, accompanied by lovely spicy notes. On the palate, it reveals a burst of fruity flavors dominated by blackcurrant and crushed blueberries. The aromatic complexity blends perfectly with a lovely structure.

Wine rated (2026 guide) 91/100

Rated estate (2025 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the wine:

Les Carlines, which are somewhat closed on the nose, open up to reveal the elegant vegetal notes typical of whole-cluster fermentation.

About the estate:

Mas Haut-Buis is, first and foremost, an exceptional high-altitude site, nestled some 650 meters above sea level, surrounded by scrubland, olive trees, and almond trees. The 14 hectares consist of no fewer than twelve distinct plots. Olivier Jeantet, who has been at the helm since 1999, is a self-taught winemaker who quickly grasped the intricacies of the craft and the rigor required to produce great wines of character that reflect the tension and integrity of the Terrasses du Larzac. A legacy of old vines, hard work in the vineyard, aging that favors large containers, and meticulously crafted blends have allowed this estate to rise among the appellation’s most reliable names.
