Domaine Thierry Germain - Roches Neuves has been run with passion and enthusiasm by Thierry Germain since 1991. Domaine Thierry Germain - Roches Neuves has become a renowned and beautiful 22-hectare estate located in Varrains, within the Saumur Blanc and Saumur-Champigny appellations in the Loire Valley. This vineyard has been established since 1850 on an exceptional terroir characteristic of the Saumur region: a chalky subsoil known as Tuffeau, a blend of sandy-clay soils with a predominance of limestone. The Thierry Germain - Roches Neuves vineyard is planted with Cabernet Franc and Chenin grapes and has been cultivated biodynamically since 2004, with careful and rigorous soil management.

In the new winery at Domaine Thierry Germain - Roches Neuves, the grapes undergo meticulous sorting before being transferred to wooden vats, where they are vinified separately. The harvest, carried out exclusively by hand, involves successive sorting. For 3 to 4 months, fermentation takes place in the cellar at low temperatures to develop the full aromatic range and freshness of Thierry Germain - Roches Neuves wines.
