"A nose of bread crust, very noble and rather rare for this grape variety, a very dry style, the palate is rich and fresh, easy to drink with a fine saline structure, the crystalline finish offers a very gastronomic purity, this wine glides across the palate, the balance is superb for an entry-level wine. Rated estate (2022 guide) 4 stars (Producers of very high quality, the pride of French vineyards)

About wine:

Aromas of bread crust, very noble and rather rare for this grape variety, a very dry style, the palate is rich and fresh, easy to drink with a subtle saline structure, the crystalline finish offers a very gastronomic purity, this wine glides across the palate, the balance is superb for an entry-level wine.

About the estate:

Céline and Isabelle Meyer run the estate, long managed by their father Jean, with courage and discipline. Biodynamics shines through in their wines, which are light and refined, fresh and chiseled. The estate's two iconic grands crus are Hengst and Brand, where Riesling shines particularly brightly. Pinot Gris is part of a long tradition of dry wines, which are unfortunately not so common in Alsace.

Wine rated (2017 guide) 89/100 (Very good wine)

About wine:

The 2015 Pinot Gris Fromenteau opens with a ripe, spicy bouquet, slightly lactic/caramel and ripe apples. On the palate, it is a very dry, spicy, fresh Pinot with a lovely creamy texture and a beautiful aromatic persistence on the finish. The 2015 was bottled with 13.5% alcohol and 2g of residual sugar. It is an excellent wine that will accompany many dishes.

About wine:

A scent of fresh Russet pear skin appears on the nose with pleasant notes of bitterness and juicy fruit. The palate is refined and dry, further highlighting the purity of the fruit. Although powerful and concentrated, the finish resonates with delicate notes of pear and a lemony freshness.
