“Dry and delicious with a hint of lemon zest, the wine’s limestone character really comes through.” (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France - RVF) Made from old vines shaped by their terroir, Le Dragon boasts a limestone minerality with very delicate notes of lemon. On the palate, it reveals lovely tension, liveliness, and plenty of juice. A wine that expresses itself with finesse and delicacy. Highly recommended!

Wine rated (2019 guide) 15,5/20 (Very good wine)

Rated estate (2022 guide): 4 stars (Producers of the very highest quality, the pride of French viticulture)

About the estate:

Céline and Isabelle Meyer manage the estate—long led by their father Jean—with courage and discipline. Biodynamic winemaking shines through in their wines, which are light and refined on the palate, fresh and crisp. The estate’s two flagship grands crus are the Hengst and the Brand, where the Riesling truly shines. The Pinot Gris is part of a long tradition of dry wine, which is unfortunately not so common in Alsace.
