Another estate owned by the Perrachon family, run by the very active Laurent—who also serves as president of the Juliénas appellation— Château de la Bottière Vieilles Vignes is produced from a century-old vineyard planted on hillsides with granite soil. Aged for twelve months in oak barrels, it delights with its richness, aromatic intensity, and power. It embodies everything one expects from a great Juliénas, with the added bonus of excellent value for money!

About the estate:

Winegrowers in Juliénas since the early 17th century, the Perrachons purchased Château de la Bottière in 1877, followed by Domaine des Perelles in Romanèche-Thorins (a windmill). Upon taking over in 1989, Laurent Perrachon acquired Domaine des Mouilles, followed by plots in Morgon, Fleurie, and Saint-Amour: a total of 31 hectares, with vineyards across six crus. With Maxime and Adrien, the new generation joined the estate in 2016.
