Another estate owned by the family Perrachon, led by the very active Laurent, who is also president of the appellation Juliénas, the Château de la Bottière 2005, which was awarded a favorite According to the Guide Hachette, this wine comes from a century-old vineyard planted on hillsides with granite soil. About the estate:

Winegrowers in Juliénas since the early 17th century, the Perrachons purchased Château de la Bottière in 1877, followed by Domaine des Perelles in Romanèche-Thorins (a windmill). Upon taking over in 1989, Laurent Perrachon acquired Domaine des Mouilles, followed by plots in Morgon, Fleurie, and Saint-Amour: a total of 31 hectares, with vineyards across six crus. With Maxime and Adrien, the new generation joined the estate in 2016.
