“From a steep, south-facing vineyard planted with 70-year-old vines, this rich wine has great potential. The tannins support the dark fruit and acidity. The wine will be at its best starting in 2022. ” (Wine Enthusiast 2021) Reflecting its terroir rich in blue rocks, Les Mouilles is characterized by a mineral profile, with a powerful, structured palate. A beautiful personality.

About the estate:
Winegrowers in Juliénas since the early 17th century, the Perrachons purchased Château de la Bottière in 1877, followed by Domaine des Perelles in Romanèche-Thorins (a windmill). Upon settling there in 1989, Laurent Perrachon acquired Domaine des Mouilles, followed by plots in Morgon, Fleurie, and Saint-Amour: a total of 31 hectares, with vineyards across six crus. With Maxime and Adrien, the new generation joined the estate in 2016.
