Bonnet Castle
Château Bonnet, in Beaujolais, is owned by Pierre-Yves Perrachon. Today, Pierre-Yves is assisted by his daughter Charlotte. The estate produces high-quality wines with varied expressions in multiple Beaujolais appellations: Chénas, Moulin-à-Vent, Juliénas, Saint-Amour, and Beaujolais-Villages. Together, Charlotte and Pierre-Yves cultivate 22 hectares of vines in different appellations: Chénas, Juliénas, Saint-Amour, Moulin à Vent, and Beaujolais Villages (white and red).

The terroirs of Château Bonnet are diverse; soils derived from granite rocks and piedmonts for the Chénas and Moulin à Vent vines, the Saint-Amour vines grow on schist, while the Juliénas vines express their finesse on volcanic rocks. Château Bonnet works according to the Terra Vitis approach, a quality initiative aimed at producing high-quality wines through sustainable and ecological viticulture. The harvest is manual; Beaujolais is one of the few vineyards in the world where harvesting must be done by hand. The typical Beaujolais wines are obtained by macerating whole bunches of grapes.
