“This Pommard showcases the Pinot Noir’s expression of lingonberry, black plum, and spices. The mouthfeel is powerful without being excessive, with the finesse of Pinot Noir coming through. ”

About the estate:

A historic estate, first mentioned in the 18th century, now covering 24 hectares. At the helm are Roger Belland, who took over in 1981; his daughter Julie, who joined in 2003 and oversees winemaking; and their new partner, Martin Boyer. No certified organic production here, but sustainable and carefully managed viticulture (full grass cover in the vineyard, no herbicides), and wines of great consistency.
