About the estate:
A historic estate, first mentioned in the 18th century, now covering 24 hectares. At the helm are Roger Belland, who took over in 1981; his daughter Julie, who joined in 2003 and oversees winemaking; and their new partner, Martin Boyer. No certified organic production here, but sustainable and carefully managed viticulture (full grass cover in the vineyard, no herbicides), and wines of great consistency.

The nose, fresher and more exuberant, features spicy notes of red cherry and redcurrant, along with subtle spicy hints. The delicious, more mineral-driven flavors are more vibrant. They aren’t as rich, but they offer greater precision on the youthful, austere, and moderately firm finish. This is a wine that will need at least a few years of aging. 2029+
