“A beautiful Santenay. The nose is clean and precise, with a minty freshness. The palate is smooth and delicate, with no astringency. A mouth-watering finish with lovely tannins. ” ( The Guide to the Best Wines of France 2012 - Gault Millau)

About the estate:

An historic estate, first mentioned in the 18th century, now covering 24 hectares. At the helm are Roger Belland, who took over in 1981; his daughter Julie, who joined in 2003 and oversees winemaking; and their new partner, Martin Boyer. No certified organic production here, but sustainable and carefully managed viticulture (full grass cover in the vineyard, no herbicides), and wines of great consistency.
