Calmel & Joseph - Saint-Chinian Le Saint Festin blanc 2023
17,5/20
Jancis Robinson
"A rare, luminous white wine—a vibrant interpretation of Saint-Chinian"
“Aroma of linden blossoms and acacia honey. It’s simply delicious. Rich and honeyed, (dry but) almost reminiscent of baklava. Pistachio, honey, angelica, cardamom, pastry, and apricots. Magnificent. A shimmering acidity. A sparkling tension that lingers endlessly in a very long finish. I know I’m repeating myself, but it’s magnificent.” (Jancis Robinson 2025).

About the estate:
The perfect choice for anyone who wants to discover fine Languedoc wines that remain true to their terroir. Jérôme Joseph and Laurent Calmel are wine merchants without their own cellars. They age the selected vintages at the wineries from which they purchase them, respecting the original flavors and terroirs.
