Notes: Robert Parker: 89-90/100, Bettane & Desseauve 16/20, Guide Hachette 1* (Very successful wine), Gerbelle & Maurange15/20
"The nose reveals aromas of dried fruit, candied fruit, and honey, complemented by toasted notes. The palate is full-bodied and slightly oaky, leaving a pleasant sensation of richness and generosity supported by a beautiful mineral freshness. An already very pleasant wine, to be enjoyed with pike in a beurre blanc sauce." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2012)

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2019 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux-du-Layon, and Chaume find subtle and sincere expression here. A sure bet.

Rated estate (2019 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)
About the estate:
Roger-François Béguinot, who made his fortune in baby food, and his wife fell in love with Château Soucherie in 2007. This 28-hectare estate is beautifully situated on a south-facing schist hillside between Beaulieu and Rochefort, in the Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux du Layon, and Chaume appellations.
