Cave de Tain

On the granitic and alluvial soils of both banks of the Rhône—the result of a complex and highly varied geological evolution (granite and moraines)—the grape varieties express their full potential: Syrah for red wines and Marsanne for white wines. In addition to the vineyards owned by its winemakers—some of whom have been in the business for four generations— Cave de Tain itself owns vineyards in the Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas, and Saint-Péray appellations, and, most notably, 22 hectares in the prestigious Hermitage appellation. 

Alongside extensive work mapping the terroirs and observing nature, Cave de Tain regularly invests and now possesses technical resources on par with the greatest names in France. This enables the production of wines of remarkable quality. Cave de Tain innovates with sulfite-free cuvées, Organic cuvées, sweet wines... And is proud to produce a range of wines that enable the creation of exceptional vintages such as the single-vineyard selections “Les Hauts du Fief” in Crozes-Hermitage or “Fleur de Roc” in Saint-Péray.
