About the wine:

This magnificent wine, which is close to being a favorite, is powerful, intense, and rich in fruit and spice, with a long, fresh finish. It combines strength with great elegance.

About the estate:

The estate’s origins, spanning six generations, date back to 1864. The property boasts a 25-hectare vineyard spread across diverse terroirs. At the helm since 1989, Pierre and Marie-Claude Fontaneil have been producing wines with strong character for nearly 30 years, including both dry and naturally sweet wines. In 2017, they sold the estate to a young couple of winemakers, Élodie and Matthieu Collet.
