With a brilliant golden-yellow hue, the aromas are intense and fresh, with notes of exotic fruits (pineapple) and almond blossom. On the palate, the attack is rich and indulgent, followed by a perfect balance between freshness and smoothness.

About the estate:

The estate’s origins, spanning six generations, date back to 1864. The property boasts a 25-hectare vineyard spread across diverse terroirs. At the helm since 1989, Pierre and Marie-Claude Fontaneil have been producing wines with strong character for nearly 30 years, including both dry and naturally sweet wines. In 2017, they sold the estate to a young couple of winemakers, Élodie and Matthieu Collet.

Aromas of flowers, exotic fruits, and citrus, accompanied by notes of dried fruit, pour out abundantly from this 100% Petit Grain. They give this Muscat a rich, full-bodied character and a smooth texture on the palate, all against a backdrop that retains a certain freshness. Served at 8°C, it is ideal with sweet desserts such as tarte tatin, lemon tart, or—to stay true to the southern terroir—a frescati from Sète or crème catalane. Medium body. Score = 3.6. For greater finesse and lightness, try the "Grain de vigne" cuvée from Domaine Lafage.
