“The Enchanting One”

"This Syrah-dominated wine reveals a complex nose of red and black fruits, violets, garrigue spices, and white pepper. On the palate, it is smooth and silky, centered on ripe fruit, supported by velvety tannins, a touch of freshness, and a lovely spicy finish." (Le Guide Hachette 2024)

About the wine:

This Syrah-dominated wine reveals a complex bouquet of red and black fruits, violets, garrigue spices, and white pepper. On the palate, it is smooth and silky, with a focus on ripe fruit, supported by velvety tannins, a touch of freshness, and a lovely spicy finish.

About the estate:

The estate’s origins, spanning six generations, date back to 1864. The property boasts a 25-hectare vineyard spread across diverse terroirs. At the helm since 1989, Pierre and Marie-Claude Fontaneil have been producing wines with strong character for nearly 30 years, including both dry and naturally sweet wines. In 2017, they sold the estate to a young couple of winemakers, Élodie and Matthieu Collet.
