Domaine Fontanel - AMAE 2018
"For wonderful moments of conviviality!"
Made from old Grenache and Roussanne vines, this Côtes du Roussillon explores a wide range of aromas (peach, acacia, pear). Barrel aging adds notes of brioche and caramel as well as a beautiful roundness. It pairs very easily with grilled white meats and fish.

About the estate:
The origins of the estate, which has been passed down through six generations, date back to 1864. The property boasts a 25-hectare vineyard planted on a variety of terroirs. At the helm since 1989, Pierre and Marie-Claude Fontaneil have been producing wines with strong personalities for nearly 30 years, including both dry wines and naturally sweet wines. In 2017, they sold the estate to a young couple of winemakers, Élodie and Matthieu Collet.
