About the wine:

A wine with aging potential and a beautiful depth of color, opening with fresh aromas of eucalyptus and morello cherry. This freshness also comes through on the palate, which is firm and robust, structured by tannins that are still quite firm. This is a wine to celller.

About the estate:

The estate’s origins, spanning six generations, date back to 1864. The property boasts a 25-hectare vineyard spread across diverse terroirs. At the helm since 1989, Pierre and Marie-Claude Fontaneil have been producing wines with strong character—both dry and naturally sweet—for nearly 30 years. In 2017, they sold the estate to a young couple of winemakers, Élodie and Matthieu Collet.
