Château Bouscassé
Château Bouscassé, located in the South-West region, close to the towns of Pau and Tarbes and facing the Pyrenees, is one of the Alain Brumont vineyards, along with Châteaux Montus. The vineyard formed by these two properties covers 180 hectares in the Madiran, Pacherenc du Vic Bilh and Côtes de Gascogne appellations.

Alain Brumont, at the head of the estates, made many changes and achieved what no one had done before him: choosing the best plots for each grape variety, replanting with the best grafts, doubling the number of vines per hectare to increase their potential tenfold, reducing yields and adapting fermentation to each grape variety. He was also the first in the appellation to age his wine in new barrels.

Château Bouscassé wines, and more broadly the Brumont brand, are today considered to be an up-and-coming, original label with a future, thanks to its unique concept and style. With wines improving every year, Alain Brumont's aim is no longer to remain in the "club" of the top 100 winemakers, but to compete among the top 20 or 30 winemakers worldwide.
