"Made from a blend of 11 grape varieties sourced from 17 vineyards in the Swartland, critics have praised this vintage as even better than the 2021 vintage—very limited stock!"
"This is a white wine of impressive complexity and richness, the result of a blend of 11 grape varieties from 17 vineyards in the Swartland. Aromas of red berries, sliced pear, green papaya, flint, grapefruit, and hazelnut are all present, followed by a full-bodied palate with a silky, supple texture. Without a break in the flow, it evolves toward spicy notes after some time. Even better than the 2021? Best enjoyed after 2025. ” (James Suckling 2024)

About the wine:
The Palladius 2022 is a blend of Chenin Blanc, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Roussanne, white and gray Sémillon, Palomino, Verdelho, Colombard, Clairette Blanche, and Viognier from several vineyards. Eben Sadie says this is the wine he wanted to make. Its nose is delightful, with notes of wax resin, linseed oil, and orange blossom. The palate is well-balanced and boasts impressive acidity. Taut, fresh, and briny, it possesses immense liveliness on the finish that lingers on the palate. It is even better than the 2021. 2026–2050
