The Chablis Grand Cru Bougros Côte Bouguerots 2014 presents an almost surgical bouquet: extremely well defined and balanced, rather subtle in style with aromas of green apple, Conference pear, and sea spray/oyster shells. At the moment, the whole is tightly wrapped up. The palate is very well balanced with crisp, harmonious acidity and just the right amount of salinity, long and tender on the finish. It was impressive in the vat, and it is just as impressive in the bottle. " (Wine Advocate 2016 - Robert Parker) Delivery in wooden cases for orders of 6 bottles of this wine.

Wine rating (2017 guide) 18.5/20 (Wine of exceptional quality)
Rated estate (2021 guide) 5 stars (Exceptional producers, representing the absolute pinnacle of quality in France and worldwide)
About wine:
A superb salty and mouthwatering expression, very straightforward, with body and power, intense persistence.
About the estate:
In post since the estate was bought by Bouchard Père et Fils of Beaune nearly a quarter of a century ago, Didier Séguier has significantly improved the quality of the wines since then. While the vineyards are undoubtedly the finest in the entire Chablis region, both in terms of premier cru and grand cru wines, it is the meticulous and rigorous work carried out in the vineyard and in the cellar that allows the quintessential minerality of Chablis' Kimmeridgian limestone to be extracted. These wines can generally be enjoyed young, but also age impeccably.

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Wine rated (2017 guide) 18/20 (Great wine)
Rated estate (2023 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About wine:
The sunny character of this plot is beautifully tamed, expressing itself in the form of concentrated dry extract and complex mineral bitterness in its grandiose finish. In its youth, the woodiness is slightly noticeable.
About the estate:
Owned by the Henriot group, this estate is the largest owner of Chablis grands crus, with more than fifteen hectares. Its vast vineyard and range of great terroirs are enhanced by meticulous organization: soil cultivation, manual harvesting at the optimal time, and yield regulation. Passionate about his vines, Didier Seguier, who has been at the helm of the estate since 1998, produces pure, well-defined and clean Chablis wines, using organic methods (certification pending) and even biodynamic methods for the premier and grand cru wines. With the exception of Petit Chablis, vinification and aging are skillfully divided for each cuvée between barrels (never new) and stainless steel vats. Refusing to impose any signature style, the wines seduce with their respect for the terroir and expression of minerality, which have been better preserved since the estate gradually switched its entire range to Diam's corks between 2005 and 2010. The conversion to organic farming is underway.
